I handed you my heart
when I handed it to you I
told you "be careful its
very fragile".
You held my heart in your hands.
When I turned to go I hear
a shattering sound.
I felt a sharp pain go through me.
That instant I knew you had
dropped my heart.
I turned to see you on your knees
trying to pick up every piece.
I told you "forget it its my heart
I should pick up the pieces".
I bent down and started picking up
the pieces of my shattered heart.
Every piece held a memory that I
will never forget.
I knew you could go on with life
but I cant.
I have to try and put my heart
back together.
But it was useless my heart
was shat
